Anyone know about either of these dealers? Can you rate service, sales and parts?

South Suburban Triumph - Chicago Heights IL (i think they have been around for a while)
Motorcycles of Joliet - Joliet IL (new shop)

I am seriously considering a Sprint and I am not that far from either, so if you have an opinion on either it would help.

Thanks

I haven't been to either of those dealers, but I think MCC in Villa Park isn't too far away from the places you're talking about and I just had some work on my bike done there. Here's their website: MCC WebSite

They seem like really nice guys and they do sponsor the local Rat Pack so they're into the brand, but I wasn't 100% happy in my dealings with them. The quality of the work was good, but I had to pester the heck out of them to get it done, and their communication with me after I dropped the bike off was non existant. When I picked up the bike they had forgotten to do a couple of smaller things and I'm still waiting for some spacers they were going to fabricate for the passenger pegs on my S3.

I guess we're pretty lucky to have 3 dealers around Chicago (4 if you count Racine), but I've only had experience with MCC and Shoreline motorsports up in Racine.

Thanks for the info.

Villa Park is about 40 miles.
I think there is a new one in Naperville too, but I can't find the name.
South Suburban is about 20 miles from me.
and the Motoplex in joliet is about 7 miles from me.

Guess I can't complain, If I don't like one I can try another with out too much hassle with distance.

Well if you end up dealing with the South Suburban or Joliet let us know how they are. I'm willing to go a little further to deal with people I like and trust. Good luck with your dealings and I hope it works out for you.

Before I found my T-Bird (private sale), I went over to South Suburban. Seemed like pretty good guys. However, the owner flat out told me if I didn't buy from him, no service.

Not that it would matter, because there are plenty of bike shops that wervice Triumphs, but still...

I just got service done at MCC and was very happy; however they do not sell Triumph bikes.

I can't believe someone would have the balls to tell you something like that!

Why would anyone think that's acceptable? They are so well off they can afford to burn that bridge with you? They'll walk away from you spending your money at their service department? Do they think they stand a chance of ever getting you to buy from them when it comes time for a new bike?
That really rubs me raw.
