I like the new Tiger and think the changes to make it more street/sport focused are good. Fits my intended use well, but I can understand the disappointment of those that liked the old "big trailie" styling. I suspect there is a much larger market for a sport-touring bike with upright ergos, hard luggage and longer travel suspension than for a "real" adventure bikes like the KTM.
I'm surprised that a naked 675 didn't make the new model cut this year though. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
Can't say I'm happy about the Sprint being made into a more relaxed bike than a sporty bike, but perhaps they are positioning it away from the (rumored) big Daytona coming in 2008. Seems to be a lot of overlap in functionality between the new, relaxed Sprint and the Tiger though. Not sure what Triumph is thinking.
A mid-sized cruiser (1500cc?) would be nice, but not this year I guess. The Rocket is too big and too expensive (and funky looking) for my tastes and wallet. I like the America and Speedmaster, but the motors are kinda gutless. A couple pistons from the Rocket in a parallel twin might be cool though.
