It would be nice to have a dealership “only” 2 ½ hours away…anyone deal with Findlay, in Henderson, NV (Las Vegas)? I have the big 12,000 mile check due on the ST and it would be nice to stay out of Los Angeles (Orange County Triumph). Although, Orange County Triumph is a great dealership, it is more then fours hours away (I now live in Death Valley, CA…really).

Does it pay to stay in RAT? Will anyone give a discount? I am too far away from any dealers to partake in local RAT rides. I hate to pay $30.00 just for a patch, pin, and sticker (oh yea, and the quarterly advertisement “magazine”).

Thanks

While I can't give you advice either way, my situation isn't much different. I created TriumphRat.Net after the local dealer went out of business.

RAT membership can be beneficial, but takes a bit of work when there isn't a local dealer.

My two sons and myself rode our three Triumphs to the Findlay Henderson (Las Vegas) over the Memorial Day weekend and found the newly Triumph franchised dealership well stocked with new Triumph bikes, parts and accessories. We purchased many Triumph accessories that we have been unable to find at any other Triumph dealership. I found the service personnel friendly and showing a willingness to learn the newly added Triumph line. I was particularly impressed with the “not smarter then you” attitude of the staff.

Good deal...I will be bringing my ST in for it's 12,000 "tune-up". I will let everyone know how it went. Thanks for the replys!

John

P.S. The heat can be a ***** "It's a dry heat"!
