I'm about to take the plunge and get a T100.

I'm only about 10miles from Nault's Windham in NH and about 50miles from Great Bay. I'm in Nashua.

I've only found limited discussion about the Nault's dealership over in the Trophy forum.

Should I even look stop at Nault's or drive straight to Great Bay?

Anybody have experience with Nault's? How quick can they find me a bike? etc.

Thanks!

Well, I'll answer my own post.

I went into Nault's today. They had 2 T100s on the floor (along lots of other bikes - maybe 12 altogether). For the most part, the sales guys were pretty knowledgable. My guy was pretty nice, but he didn't know that the chain is on the "wrong" side compared to the Hondas he sells. There was another salesman that was very knowledgable. He might even read this forum.

Anyway, I got a good out the door price of $7995 for a Blue/White T100. I dropped more money on a few accesories (centre stand, sissy bar). I pick it up on Monday!

Can't say anything about the parts or services just yet, but my sales experience was pretty good.

John

Glad you got good service in sales.

Take it to Great Bay for any follow up work you need - a quick search of this board may put you off their service dept at Naults.

I have yet to hear anything good about this dealer, whereas personal experience and word from others almost invariably recommends the guys at Hampton.

Congratualtions on your purchase!

Another update from me...

Picked up the bike today. It went mostly OK. The guy in the business office didn't have all my paperwork ready eventhough they knew I was showing up at 5pm. The sales dude didn't know that the owner's manual is buried under the seat (I didn't either but then again I'm not the salesman). And he told me the tank was half full, but about a mile from the dealer, it shut down and I had to switch to reserve. Other than that, the bike looks perfect.

jreagan;

I live in Haverhill and bought the other T100 on the showroom floor...the black/white....picked it up for $7500. The salesman I dealt with seemed pretty knowlegable and helpful. The buying experience was an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. Neither the bike nor the paperwork was ready for pick up as scheduled.

I am not as impressed with their service department though. Shortly after picking up the bike I noticed a small oil leak around the oil filter. After two visits they appear to have corrected the problem, a crushed seal/gasket around an oil line, but the bike was in the shop for over a week. The frustrating part was not the time, but never getting any updates as to the problem. I'd be told the bike wold be ready one day, only to call and be told two more days. This happened twice. A phone call to keep the owner informed would go a long way to improve customer relations. All the work was done under warranty, which was great. However, the service department provided no documentation of the work performed. After speaking with a salesrep, I was promised that it would be ready for me the next time I came in. I didn't leave with warm fuzzies about that.

I seem to hear good things about Great Bay....so I thought I'd check it out. Good luck with the bike. I have to admit that, other than the oil leak problem, I love mine.

Shedds, I'm surprised you got the brush off from the Salem dealer. I rode by there a few weeks ago and spoke to the owner. Even after I told him I bought my T100 from Nault's, he still invited me to use him for service. He seems like a reasonable guy. I met him the first time when the Triumph factory truck was coming through the area.

As for Nault's service, like Bravo182, I'm not impressed. Sloppy organization, not answering phones, not listening to my requests, etc. The work done by the techs seems OK, but the guys dealing with the customers need some serious help. Especially Raoul.

So next time I need service, I'll probably head over to Great Bay or Salem.
