Hey there. I wanted to put in a plug for Champion Cycle in Bellingham.....I bought my Triumph from a competeing dealer, and had been going there for service, etc, but had been less than happy with their outfit...So I decided to take her to Champion for the 12,000 service. The shop is really neat, small but with a good selection of Triumphs to drool over. Plus they have more in stock Triumph stuff than I have ever seen in one place, from parts and accessories to clothing. The other dealer is much bigger, but the bulk of their sales seem to be Japanese bikes, they have very little Triumph merchandise in stock, although top be fair they are getting more all the time!

The owner, Howard, is a great guy, knowledgeable about his products and bikes in general, and you can easily find yourself shooting the $hit with him for half an hour to 45 minutes. Also, he knew I wanted to pick up my bike this morning, so he ended up staying at his shop till 7:30 to get it done for me, without even being asked. I really appreciated it.

Anyway, if you are in the area, its worth checking out! Champion is at 615 Holly St, near the waterfront.

Good job, guys!

I will get up to the shop one day, I've talked to them on the phone a few times and was impressed that they had a clue and actually seemed to care.

Sounds like a weekend ride to me, supposed to be sunny on Saturday

Matt

I have heard very good things about them, too. We are very lucky to have the number of dealerships we have around here.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Copper, et al

agree whole heartedly. My wife is from bellingham and last time i was there, spoke w/ Howard as a they had a 96 bird there that had been pretty heavily modded. he took the time to tell me what he liked and didn't and gave me a bunch of advice on mine. since i'm there a couple times a year, would definitely be willing to truck my bike to him to work on if it was something outside of my ability.
