True story. John Ross, the Service Manager, yes that's correct the manager came to my home picked up my bike and towed it from my home, to Raleigh. This is no trip around the block, this an hour drive on a major interstate. My tire blew out and I really do not trust anyone in my area to service the bike. This guy came down on his own time 8:00 PM EST and towed my TBA to the shop. Service comes at a cost you say, total $20.00, the cost of the gas, and to tell you honestly I know gas costs more than that! These are the guys that put the Umph in Triumph. I can not laud praises on this great crew enough. Oh buy the way I did not even buy the bike from them. Truly a great experience, if you are in the South Eastern United States or anywhere for that matter you should give them a shout. :

I also had an experience similar to yours from Az Super Bike in Chandler ,AZ. I rode my bike to work and when I had arrived I noticed an oil leak. I called said dealer and he quickly had someone out to pick up my bike at the station which is 40 miles from there shop. No charge for the pick up and no charge to repair the leak. The leak was free of charge because that had just done the 24k service on it a few days prior, so he expected it was a mistake on his part. He was very apologetic about the inconvenience.

Let me add I've bought two Bikes (2002 BMW R1150RA and my new T100) from Carolina BMW Triumph in Greensboro who are the same folks that own and run Capitol BMW Triumph in Raleigh. I've always found them to be totally top notch, both in service and sales. Service is on time and at a decent price. Planning on buying a third bike, a Sprint from them in March. I live in Charlotte but prefer driving the 80 miles to Greensboro rather than frequent our local dealer.

Dealer in Charlotte provides the same great service

I would like to add that when my Bike failed to start, I emailed the dealership here in Charlotte and Mark Engle the owner arranged for the service department to collect my bike and had it back up and running within a day. The people he has working in the service department are first class.
Now that is service.

I was asking about parts there a few months back, and the parts guy explained how triumph was more interested in pasting pretty chrome on their motorcycles, unlike BMW, which is a real motorcycle.

I don't buy parts there now.

Good to hear their service department might be able to help in a pinch though.
