Y'all come to Cycle Barn in Lynnwood this Saturday the 4th. We will be unveiling the first 675 Daytona to be seen in the entire Northwest. It goes to the Triumph area sales rep, and after spending the day at Cycle Barn it will be off to other showings at other dealers.

We will remove the black satin sheets hiding it at 10am, and Mark Pfenning will be there to answer questions. We will wheel it outside to start it up and let everyone have a listen. Those on our list of 15 reserved sale bikes get to be the first to sit on it!

Oh yes, I can tell you this - it is a red one, and has more fabulous details than any stock sport bike I have ever seen. It is really gorgeous.

Hope to see you Saturday,

Dave Preston

Now that I have seen it in person, I think it is worth taking a look even if you are not interested in supersport bikes. The visual design hangs together like an RC30 or MV Agusta. The attention to detail, both in assembly items and visual design is thorough and logical. Everything on that bike is part of the bike, with nothing left to accident. As a piece of motorcycle design, it is really outstanding.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Sounds interesting.

I wonder if they've made it to Arkansas yet ...

Dave,
How'd you guys rate so early? It's not making it to Olympia until the 16th, and then only for 5-6 hours.

I am sure that will be the same bike. They do try to make things even out - we will have the factory demo truck on June 30-July 1, but I believe I-90 will get it a week earlier, if they want it (thay have evidently just been sold) even though it was our application that got the truck out here.

As to why we got the 675 first, I think I know - but if I told you I would have to kill you yadayadayada....

Bogarts' of Birmingham (just off I-459, near I-20) will be showing off a '675 next Tuesday, Feb 14. Should be there all afternoon, until about 6:00 pm.

Drop by if you have the opportunity. It should be worth the stop. Also, Bogarts is in the process of remodeling/enlarging the entire shop, which should give Triumph even more exposure there!
