I been looking for a dealer here in the Palm Beach to Palm Bay area of Florida. Has anyone used Palm Beach Triumph for service work and if so was it a good experience?

Personally , I have not used Palm Beach Triumph but IMO you'll be better off with them than the House of Power in Melbourne & that's from personal experience . However I heard there is a new Triumph dealer in FT Lauderdale .

In looking at new bikes, I went to House of Power in Palm Bay.
A multi-vehicle shop, the place was not too focused on the Triumph brand. Indeed, the folks there seemed more intent on ATVs. I tried to talk to a sales rep about a T-100, but he didn't know about prices. I left.

I note that Pure Triumph in Ft. Lauderdale appears to be a more simpatico place to seek your new wheels. If my wife can come around (a long-term project), I suspect that's where I'll head out to.

I also had similar negative experience at House of Power in Palm Bay. The place is full of ATVs, and also many salesmen cruising the place like sharks. I wanted to see the 2006 T100 in black and red, and got a salesman who didn't know it had a different motor than the Bonneville, and then gave me a price $400 over the MSRP. When I pointed out his price was high he acted like he would do me a huge favor and shave off a couple hundred. I also hear from many people at work they turn their back on you the minute you are out the door, no matter how much you spend. I'm shopping other dealers in other cities for the T100.

I bought my Thruxton in Oct 05 from Bob Keenan at Palm Beach Triumph. It was an 05, discounted significantly from list. I wanted a black bike and Bob wanted to move his blue one, so he made me a deal; buy the blue, ride it till a black comes in, and he'd switch the bodywork , no charge.
As it turned out, he had a buyer for the next black that came in, so he ordered the tank, cowl and sidecovers and replaced them at his own expense. Everything I've bought from Bob has been discounted, and service charges are reasonable. If this sounds like a paid endorsement, all I can tell you is that it's not.
I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
BTW- I went on a RAT ride with the guys from Pure triumph in Ft Laud, and they seemed like a good lot; haven't done business w/them tho..

If anyone in the Melbourne area is interested, I have recently opened an independent repair and accessory shop on Wickham Rd.

Although I cannot sell you a new bike or do warranty work on Triumphs, I can do everything else for you, including scheduled maintenance. My previous employer's logo appears on your fuel tank (starts with a "T"...).

Guys,

I bought bikes from both dealers; Bob from Palm Beach Triumph and House of Power in Melbourne.

Did not have a bad experience with House of Power but wanted to let you know that Bob from Palm Beach is the BEST.

You are dealing directly with the owner and he makes great deals.

Mike

I bought my 2003 Speed Triple from Bob at Palm Beach and it was a great experience! The service was good and fairly priced and the staff was very freindly. Like a few of the posts I bought a leftover 2003 (in 2004) and got a deep discount. Bob was always helpful and offered solid advice and reccomendations. The added bonus it is a Euro specific shop, so you don't have to wade through 50 Yamaha quadrunners and repli-Harleys to get to the Triumph bikes and gear.

I also avoid House of Poser nowadays, though in the past they have been "not so bad". I think they changed hands.

I bought my used Bonnie from Mellilimoto in Ocala and had a good experience. Used bikes only there (except for Enfields) but they specialize in Triumph, Beemer, and Ducati.
