Having moved back to Tucson a month ago, I'm going to be needing to get some maintenance done in the near future. Anybody know how the Truimph dealer here in Tucson is? I'll even deal with driving up to Phoenix if I have too. I generally do all my own work, but still need access to parts and possibly a remap for the emissions test to get it registered until I can get my own Gameboy. Any comments???

I lived in Tucson and purchased an 04 Daytona from the dealer there. Sales experience was good but the service department is very very bad. 4 attempts to get a fueling problem fixed and all they could tell me was nothing was wrong and put more miles on it. A dealer here in CA spent 10 minutes with it and diagnosed a bad injector. Problem solved.

I also had the Tucson dealer service my 99 Sprint. They "forgot" to change the front brake fluid and never even offered to rectify the error. Dinged the paint on the tank and gouged the rear wheel down to bare metal in 3 places while changing the rear tire. When I pointed all this out to the service manager, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away.

If I remember correctly, the service managers name was Dan. If he is still there, run as fast as you can to one of the Phoenix dealers.

AZwildcat,

Thanks for the info!!! Don't know if that same guy is there but certainly will keep that in mind! I try to do all my own work, but there are just some things I can't due to lack of a specific tool. (for the moment anyway).

vanpraag,

Good Luck with your service needs. FYI.......the BMW dealer on Grant Rd, I believe it is called Renaissance Cycles, used to be the Triumph dealer. I do not know if they still will service Triumphs or not but I liked their service dept.
