I'm leaving for a trip down south on my new 2004 Sprint RS, and I was wondering if I could have some recomendations for Triumph shops that are a must stop and see?
States that it looks as if I will or may be passing through are:
Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
It would be nice to know of places to stop just to shop, look around, and shoot the breeze: as well as know some good places just incase I need some repairs.
Thanks

If you are out and about Greensboro, NC way and need anything, Carolina BMW/Triumph are awesome. I am sad to admit that I am leaving them behind (moving to VA), but I am pretty sure I will still go there for servicing.

If you come through Birmingham, AL, you'll find Bogart's BMW/Ducati/Triumph/Vespa @ Grant's Mill & I-459. Exit I-459 & Grant's Mill, go north, take first right on Grantswood. Bogarts is about 1 mile (maybe less) on the left. Not the largest shop, but the sales people are nice. Don't expect to find lots of parts in stock, but I've been surprised lately with what's on the shelves.
A "MUST SEE" in the Birmingham area is Barber's Vintage Motorsports Museum. Barber's is located just off I-20 east of Birmingham. Take Exit #140, go towards Leeds. Just before the Chevron Station, turn right (Rex Lake Road). The entrance to Barber's Motorsports Park is 1/2 mile on the right. Museum is about 1.5 miles from the entrance. $10 admission, and allow at least 2 hours (4 hours might be better) to visit the museum.
Enjoy!

If you're all the way down Houston way, British USA is a neat place to visit. They deal in both Meriden and Hinckley Triumphs, as well as other European brands..

ISA, if you are in the South Carolina area definately visit Ridge MotorSports in Batesburg SC. A small shop filled with great people. Jeff, the owner is great to deal with and Byron, the mechanic is top notch. Very knowledgeable and reasonably priced if you need service work.
BTW...When I travel out of state I take along a list of the Triumph dealers in the states I traveling through.
I do a little cut and paste thing with Microsoft word and Triumphs dealer listings on their website.
Have a great trip and ride safe.

Good idea. Actually that is kind of what I'm trying to do here. But I prefer to have choice of dealers that come with good recommendations :-D
