It depends on the dealer. When the RocketIII was first introduced, I don't think there were that many "deals".
However, price isn't everything.
I paid pretty much full price + $2k in accessories for my first Triumph, but the dealer (now out of business) gave me great service and handled all of my mistakes and blunders.
Then there are other dealers who don't put as much emphasis on what they make on motorcycle sales. Those deals are done in a fashion that encourages you to come back in for accessories, protective gear, apparel, and other things.
Some dealers won't let anything go out the door unless it is profitable, regardless of what other business you may or may not do. There is a good reason for this mentality, but is sometimes viewed as a negative by customers.
The bottom line is that any sale is a negotiation. If the dealer is willing to spend time with you and there is a two-way conversation that involves listening on both sides, you'll usually come away with something that makes you happy.
