Just woundering if any one in the Wichita area is satisfied with the the Triumph dealer "bikers edge". I just got done having tires put on a 98 Daytona and left there on the very unsatisfied side of things.

Yeah I just got the soaking of the life time. I know that the tires were pricey but $177 bucks for mounting and balancing I thought was a bit crazy. Plus the fact that it took two weeks for them to do the job was a bit out there. If that not enough when I got home and was checking everything over real good the front brake calipers were not even tighten. After call back and telling them about the calipers the service manager stated that they did not even touch the front brakes. HOW IN THE HELL DID THEY CHANGE THE FRONT TIRE?

The price for your tire depends on what you got. I use Metzlers on both of my Triumphs, and have spent more.

It is unfortunate that your conversation with the dealer's Service Manager was so negative. If you haven't already, bring the bike back to the shop and let their mechanic look at it with you.

A practice that may help in the future is before dropping off your bike with a new shop/dealer for repair take some time to for normal conversation with the Service Manager and/or mechanic that will be working on your bike. It may sound silly, but it does help them better understand who they are working with.

I wish I would have listened to a neighbor about the shop in question, but I went to other shops in the area and they did not seem interested in working on a off brand "Honda and Suzuki shops". So it was either try them for myself and see how they are, or go to Oak city or Kansas city, either way 2 hours away.
Since then I have found a shop that will do the work and come to find out that the guys running it worked for the shop in qusetion. I also heard that the shop in question tried to sue them for taking away there business.
To make the long story short I won't ever go there again.
