Yesterday I heard from a Triumph sales person that the dealer meeting for the 06 new model releases is in two weeks. Is this correct? Anyone know what date this will be?

I have heard there will be two new models for 06. It seems that one of these may be the 680 triple sportsbike. Any speculation or info on the new models? Is two new models what everyone else has heard? I believe I've heard that the Baby Rocket will be an 07 model...

My dealer mentioned that it is two weeks from this weekend.

All speculation, no info. You know as much as any of us.

Based on past years, some of what has been in the press will likely be true, and a whole lot will be total imagination. There's never been any good way ahead of time to tell which is which, and Triumph is keeping it that way again this year.

I think by now everyone knows of a 675 or 680 triple sport bike to replace the 600/650 fours. The second I think will be a flat tracker version of the Bonneville or maybe a revisit to the Bonneville TT or scrambler with high pipes. Probably with the Thruxton 900 engine. Since they are going to be unveiling them in the US I would figure one of them would be retro style.

My dealer said the baby rocket is supposed to be an 07 model and a twin cylinder. He said Triumph will basically cut one cylinder off of the rocket engine to make a twin cruiser. I wonder how it will sit in the frame though?

I have heard Triumph has committed to releasing at least two new/updated models a year. So the next few years will be interesting.

The Dealer in Little Rock is leaving for the dealer's convention very soon, 2 to 3 weeks.

We'll setup a special submission album for folks with pictures to share.

Looks like I need to make some money - I'll be on my knees crying over which '06 model to sell my soul to.

Could this be the new Scrambler?

EDIT: From reading the Twin forum, this is apparently a bike made of aftermarket parts and not an actual 06 model.

There are larger versions, as well as the "wood efect" bonnie in the background in my album.
