British customs delays..

Hi All, just wondering if anyone has had poor experience with obtaining part from British Customs? I ordered a fender eliminator, mirrors, mirror plugs and a hugger for my S3 in JUL and I am still waiting. have had to initiate queries 3-4 times, and the latest is that all but 1 item is ready to ship but they have pushed back on it twice already. I'll post some pics if/when the goodies come in, or am I being rolled? I'm getting a bit nervy with $600+ in limbo and nothing to show for it.

Welcome.

There are mixed experiences from BC - I have always had good results with them. Best bet is to call Sean. To my knowledge they always come through.

I ordered a throttle boss and quick release seat screws 8/24/10. Had not received either, so I called them. they were holding the throttle boss until the seat screws were available, as they are currently on backorder. don't know why, but that seems to be their norm. So, I told them to send the throttle boss and they put it out the same day.
the rest of my order is on backorder til the end of September.

I have had some delays with B/C, but they have all been caused by their suppliers being late. They have always been very professional and easy to deal with. If you have questions about fit up and such, Sean is a great free resource as well.
Not to worry about your unvestment, they will come through.

I no longer do business with them. More than once have I run into issues getting something in a reasonable time. Once I was told that they had to refund me the money because the manufacturer no longer makes the part. Gee... glad you still keep in on your website to this date. There are plenty of other vendors out there selling the same things.

Ordered sliders and a tank pad one week ago from B/C. Fed Ex tracking said it will arrive tomorrow. Not the fastest, about average.

Got EM

Thanks all. The kit arrived 2 days about 3 days after I posted. I fitted everything except the fender eliminator. I'll try & knock that over this weekend. I have a fair but more to obtain & with the AUS $ matching the US, now would seem to be the time. I found another online shop in Miami, any other suggestions? I am more interested in genuine parts (mainly carbon/ fibre), but will get after market where required.

Thanks again.
