Question Brand new £5420 OTR and 1yo £5300, why?

Hi, I just wondered why there's so little difference from a brand new standard Bonneville, which is about £5420 and second hand ones which sell at about £5300, does it not depreciate at all or are dealers taking advantage?

Comparing like for like? The 1 year old bike might have factory accessories that aren't present on the new one?

They do hold their value well, too, naturally.

All Triumph's have high residuals ...

i.e low depreciating. In the UK, this is in part due to pre-owned bikes being snapped up by European buyers taking advantage of the exchange rate.

Whilst demand is high, so will be the secondhand prices.

This is the reason I bought new last autumn.
