New Triumph dealer in Utah

Anyone who's had the misfortune of dealing with Accolade motorsports/Triumph of salt lake, and knowing they were the only dealer in the entire state of Utah, should be glad to hear about this.

The new dealer is called 'Triumph Motorcycles of Utah' and is at 339 West 9000 South, Sandy. I called to speak to them on the phone and they actually answered and were helpful! The manager said they just became an official Triumph dealer 3 days ago.

I'm heading down there next week to check out their operations and see how their techs are, but based on MY experiences there is no way they won't be better than Triumph of Salt Lake.

Stopped in today for a few minutes while I was out playing. This dealership opened last spring as a BMW/Husqvarna dealer. They don't have any Triumphs out in the showroom yet; they just came in yesterday and aren't uncreated yet; in fact they weren't expecting them until next week. They're remodeling the showroom to allow room for the Triumphs. They mentioned that their tech just got back from the Triumph school this week.
First impression was positive; two different people came up and introduced themselves to me and asked if there was anything they could do. I was invited to make myself at home, to sit and play on any of the bikes in the showroom.
I'll certainly give them a shot next time I need anything for the Sprint.

Cool! I can hardly wait to visit! Competition to the other dealerships I frequent is a good thing.

Don't get too excited. Appears to be an addition to the North Salt Lake dealership, same staff with maybe a few new ones. No indication of Triumph on the building but carry them on the floor, same as Accolade in N. SL.

Picked up a new RIII from the North Salt Lake dealership a few days ago. Pretty good experience so far, so I hope things have changed for this dealer. We'll see I guess. I'm in Provo, so I'm glad to see not only another Triumph option (hopefully, to akacliph's point), but one a bit closer to home.

UPDATE: I went into the new dealership today. They indicate there is no affiliation with the old Accolade dealer, be that good or bad. However, they also indicated that over half the staff used to work at Accolade at some point. Again, not sure if that's good or bad. Coming right down to it, the North Salt Lake dealership (the old Accolade) might have fixed up their act, might not. The new guys ... unknown, given the old connections. I look forward to hearing some current reviews of service for both of these dealers. Hopefully both are fully on the up and up.
