Just wanted to crossreference my great experience with RPM to the Donelson review.

My praise of RPM belongs under the RPM thread.

Just had my 18,000 mile service done by RPM. Also a new rear tire.

Once again, great service and resonable pricing.

I just bought my '06 Thruxton from RPM in March, best vehicle purchasing experience I've ever had. Super knowledgeable and exactly what I would imagine a Brit bike dealership to be. They even called me before I had a chance to call them to schedule the break-in service and add-on installation, a big deal since I have a similar 150 miles drive from Peoria, IL. Anyone willing to listen and some that aren't willing, I'll send all of them to RPM.

A great shop is hard to find. Sounds alot like Soth Suburban near Chicago since they went all Triumph this spring.

RPM is a terrific dealership to work with. I bought my Sprint from them in July of 05. I wish I still lived close enough to Belleville to have them work on my bike. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go back again for another bike.

I've said it before- I'll say it again, RPM is the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Steve and Theresa will be selling me my next Triumph. Their customer service is literally second to none.

Donelson's has great people, stock and knowledge in their parts area, but their sales and service are horrible.

RPM is small and out of the way, but will ALWAYS get my business.

+1 for RPM Motorwerks!!! I've bought a number of bikes over the years and they are by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with.

Getting Serious
OK, I'm getting pretty serious about a Triumph. Living where I do, it looks like I have a choice of two dealers -- RPM and Donelson. Since I don't have a relationship with either, there's a number of factors involved in the decision. One of them is price -- I guess the question is, how much "negotiating space" is there at the two dealers? Putting together a bike and a handful of accessories into the package, who is going to actually deal, and just how much wiggle room is there on the price at the end of the model year?

I don't know about wiggle room, but RPM gave me a fair price on mine, and combined with the service I've received there it was well worth it. Although I live 4hrs away they still get a lot of my business.

if they're really that good I may travel over there sometime. I don't have much faith in my local dealer, they don't seem to care much about anything. My only concern is RPMs website hasn't been updated since 2006, so that's alittle odd. But I guess if they're mom and pop that might explain it.
