Clothing Quality Issues?

After purchasing several McQueen/Triumph t-shirts, I was very disappointed in the quality. Here in New Zealand Triumph branded clothing is pretty expensive, yet the quality of what I purchased is very poor.
Incredible shrinkage (down 2 sizes, even following the care instructions), dye fading in large patches, loss of shape.
Anyone else with the same bad luck?

Did you check the label for the country of manufacture before buying?

That is a clue on what to expect every time.

Triumph clothing

Beemie I didn't check country of manufacture. I realise most is probably made in China, but I assumed that the Triumph factory would only offer a quality item.

Interesting, all the triumph clothing I have purchased has been of exceptional quality (which is good since the price is generally exceptionally as well). The signature series shirts in particular I have found to be very thick material and good construction. Granted I have not gotten any of the McQueen shirts so I can't speak directly to those items. Perhaps they source from different manufacturers for different markets.... no idea.

I've had Triumph shirts shrink and lose colour too.....

But that's because I didn't follow the wash instructions like a typical bloke and boiled em!

What's a McQueen? Queen of Ireland? What's she doing in a t-shirt?
