Triumph Nomanclature

Hi

Does any member know of a list of Triumph Nomanclatures, i.e. the 120 in Bonneville T120R is 120mph, but what is 'R' etc, T120R, T120RV, T140V, D and E. Bikes in the were refered to as Tr5, Tr6, Tr7 TR65, TR6SS & TR7V etc is there a factory list available of the history of all the Triumph codes for all models manufactured. I am compiling a library of all the different models of Triumph Motorcycles.

I have a copy of a book called 'Triumph Motorcycle Buyers Guide' by Roy Bacon, Niton Publishing - UK and Aston Publications USA. I think this has all the info you require.
