Angry Orphaned...

Dang it! My local dealer, where I bought my Triumph two years ago, is no longer an authorized dealer.

Nearest dealers are 2 - 4 hours away.

I've been doing the oil changes, and there's a local shop that handled the tire change just fine. But... I don't have a clue about balancing carbs, adjusting valves and all that inside-the-motor stuff...

Becoming my own mechanic wasn't really in my plan either... I've got enough stuff to do without accumulating a bunch of Triumph specific knowledge and tools.

What do you think? Trade it on something? Good local dealers here for Hondas, Harley-Davidson, Suzuki & Kawasaki.

Or just learn to be a better mechanic?

The Jap bike dealers can help you with the carbs.

Find a good independent motorcycle shop that is not a dealer. That is where I get all my work(that I do not do myself) done. Usually better service and definitely a better price.
