Albuquerque Is Good, Again
I test rode an '02 Tiger last week at a BMW dealer who took it on trade-in. I rode it by PJ's for a quick opinion. Lots of dealers would say they're too busy or charge for their time. Instead of just a quick opinion about general condition, they took time to look up service history and listen to the motor and generally look it over. Even showed me one they were working on and called the owner, who had said he might sell it. They didn't charge me a dime. Every time I've been in there for service or just advice to DIY, they've been as nice as can be. My Sprint has gotten good service there when needed, and now I'm sure my Tiger will.
If you are within a day's ride of Albuquerque (I know, the middle of nowhere!), PJ's is worth checking out.
