Which triumph would be a good bike for my short wife

My wife is 5'4" tall and she is very intersted in triumphs (could be because i just got my S3 and love it) She has a 07 Kawaski 650 Ninja that i lowered 3 inches and seems to still be a little tall. So i'm curious what would be a good size bike for her. She likes to stand flat footed. We should be visiting a Triumph dealership this weekend.

The Bonneville, hands down. When I test rode one last year I was blown away at how low and compact those things are! Obviously coming off a Tiger will magnify that effect!

The new Bonnie is real low and narrow. Forget the Scrambler. It's pretty tall. I have a T100 which I can flatfoot, I also have a Scrambler and I'm on my toes at 5'7".

Also look at the Street Triple. It has a low seat hight and is also very light.

Thunderbirds (not the cruiser) have lower seats than new Bonnevilles. The power is completely linear with no scarey parts.

I know it is outside your parameters but for the record I am a just under 5'4" female and I ride a Speedmaster. True I am solidly on the balls of my feet and if I were any shorter I would need to modify the kickstand placement but I can handle the ride and find it very comfortable.
It did take me a while to get used to the weight and balance of the bike so I would move it around without sitting on it in parking lots etc but it didn't take long before I was able to move backwards etc while staying on the bike.
Some people would rib me at first but I ignored it and now have complete confidence.

Yea before on here kawk 650 she was on the balls of her feet and wasn't confortable and ended up spilling the bike. So i lowered the bike 3 inches and she can flat foot it with docs on.

I know the Bonnie has been mentioned a number of times... And the "new" base Bonnie and Bonnie SE models (the ones with the 17' front wheels) are made specifically with the "vertically challenged" in mind... They have the lowest seat height of all the variants... Well, the America & Speedmaster versions might be "down there" seat height wise too... But they're cruiser versions.... not that there's anything wrong with that... =;-)

"Stifled" performance wise, in stock form, but easily opened up if better performance is desired.

Plenty of relatively inexpensive options to upgrade the (pitiful) stock suspension and you can even adjust the ride height further via shock/spring length options if needed....

Get a standard bonnie put the 09 se seat on it and Kawasaki 500 vulcan shocks that will be good for about 3 inches even lower once she sits on it. I have a short leg thanks to uncle sam...i can flat foot now with this combo.

Seat height isn't everything; there's also handlebar and peg reach. I think the Bonneville is the 'shortest' Triumph.
