apparel sale

Just a heads up! I stopped by Gengras Motorcycles the other day and they have all their gear on sale! The young woman who works in the depart. told me they are getting ready to combine the dealerships (they own a Harley store too) and need to move some inventory. I picked up a couple of shirts and am trying to convince my self to get the Rivton jkt- it's marked down 25%- before my size it gone. Check it out

That's been going on for quite a while.
Anyone up to buy a Triumph dealership?
Maybe a rider's co-op?

Exclamation Super Mark downs

So I decided to go back to Gengras and get that jkt. It was 40%off retail . Most items are now 40% off or more! Don't miss out on the gear

Not hardly. Very few items are that at much of a discount.
More likely 20-25% is the norm.
Was there yesterday.

Roulette, you caught a good deal but I'm just being fair advising anyone thinking of trekking 50 miles to find "40% off and more", that is only on select items and not on "most items".
You were lucky to happen upon an item that wasn't a hot seller there so it was more agressively priced. We did the same about a year ago and got $200 off a $400 jacket; it just wasn't a popular seller in their shop.

I saw more 25% off signs there Friday, and then there were things, including some clothing, that were not marked down at all.

And then there was the aftermarket textile riding suit that I saw marked down (???) to $800! And it didn't say BMW on it.

As far as liking the dealer, I wish them all the luck that they deserve.

Thumbs up Wow!

Wow! I mean Wow! My wife and I stocked up on so much gear and apparel! Everything in the store is seriously 30-40% off!!!!!!! They're having a moving sale and I can't wait to how the combined dealership will look. (We also own a Harley too! ONE STOP SHOPPING!). I have always enjoyed my shopping experience at Gengras. I say you should definitely take advantage of this Moving Sale before everything is gone!

So exactly where in the Harley showroom do you see room to put Triumphs, Ducs and BMWs? You look forward to that?

I hear that they are remodeling to accommodate all the brands. Unfortunately The Cookhouse is no longer there, that was a great place to stop into on the way out, but I'm assuming that is that space that will be used.

Dealership owner or business manager?

The thing I don't like is you and Scrambler15 pretending to be something (or someone) you're not. I let it go when this thread first appeared, but there's a limit to how much BS an honest guy can take. "Wow! I mean Wow!"... you've put me over my limit.

Your posts contained in this bogus thread are your only ones and were made immediately upon joining T-RAT.net. You'd like us to believe that you both joined only to let others know about this great sale? I believe that you have a vested interest the dealership, and are merely playing us in order to receive free advertising under false pretenses. Probably just one person using two different profiles to make your deception of being genuine T-RAT.net member(s) more convincing. Regardless, it's obvious that you have only one interest.

Because you have no qualm in deceiving potential customers, I for one will never buy anything from Gengras Motorcycles. Since this is the way you choose to advertise, I advise others to consider the same decision. Unfortunately you've displayed to all of us your dealership's lack of integrity. IMO, if you are the owner, you should seriously consider changing your MO. If you are the parts manager or some type of business manager, you should be forced to find a new job.
