Northeast Ohio price check '09 Sprint ST and '09 Bonny, 'free accessories incentive'
Wife and I are looking to add two bikes to our stable. Hardings Park Cycle (local for us) is advertising '09 Sprint ST (non ABS) for $8,999 and '09 Bonny (basic) $6,999. That's $2600 and $700 (respectively) less than MSRP.
Haven't had a chance to really check 'em out yet, pretty sure the Bonny will be perfect for my wife (although she's isn't short at 5'9" she's really into something shorter than her DR650 ;-). I'm not sure if the Sprint ST will fit me well yet (6'2" and 250#) but I'd think it would be good.
I noticed on the Triumph site they have a deal for $1000 of accessories on the ST and $500 on the bonny.. at participating dealers.
Is this one of those things where they can choose to give it to you, OR take the money as dealer incentive (would partly explain the advertised prices). How does it work out, you have to buy/order the accessories at the time of purchase? Any idea if there is any fine print requiring the dealer install them?
And of course, any comments on the price?
We're in Canton Ohio, saw good reviews of Hermy's in PA but that's around 400 miles ..6 hours.. it would have to be one hell of a deal to justify the drive ;-)

Reason: wife is 5'9" not 6'9" ;-)
