Where to escalate dealer complaints?

Hi all!

I am from Australia and have had one hell of a bad experience with my new Triumph - not the bike, rather the service and dealer where it was purchased from.

I was told to try to get in contact with Triumph UK (ie head office), but the only e-mail addresses I can find on either the Aus or the UK site are the official Triumph RAT e-mails. I emailed the UK one, but got directed back to Triumph Australia, who I understand to be affiliated with the place of origin whom I wish to complain about (that and they haven't answered my last e-mail in two weeks).

Any assistance or advice would be appreciated.

I would persevere with Triumph Australia who are the right people for dealer queries in Australia. They will be the ones who appoint and be directly responsible for the dealer network in OZ.

Go to Triumph UK if you don't get satisfaction from Triumph OZ.

The reason I want to go to Triumph UK is because Triumph Aus is linked to the place I have not been happy with, so is likely to cover up....How do you get in touch with Triumph UK do you know?

Triumph Australia will be linked to all the Australian dealer network, I am sure they are professional enough to hear your complaint.

Here's the UK address link:

Fax No for the factory is +44(0) 1455 453005.
The Triumph office in Australia is, I believe, Triumph's own office, not a distributor. Whilst they will be loyal to the dealer, they will take note and should try to resolve situation between you.
If you fax the factory, send of attn: Export Sales Manager. He will refer complaint to Australian office but a referral from "on high" does usually grab the attention!
On the odd occasion I have contacted the factory (not for a complaint) I have found them most helpful.
