Hey,

I ordered a 05 Sprint ST from this dealer. I'm looking to take delivery in 2 weeks. Great deal on the bike. Almost too good. I'll see if they come through. I did check with the BBB. Clean report there. Two locals also said they're OK as well.

I also, still would like to know if there's anyone else who can give some info on these guys.

What are you looking for?

Tim

I am looking for a good Triumph dealer and live about an hour or so from Joliet. Since I refuse to do business with the elpaso dealer, unless absolutely desperate for a part, Joliet is the closest dealer. I want to know how they treat their customers and what their shops quality is like.

I recently have gone into two of the three shops that are run by the owners of the Joliet shop. In one location they couldn't tell me what they could offer me on the 04 Sprint that was on their floor nor did they even know what the MSRP was. I was told that they would have someone call me the next day and no one ever did.
In both shops the stock they had was as follows:
70 % Victory/Custom Choppers
15% ATVs or snowmobiles
5% Triumph/Aprilia

The guys I talked to in the Joliet shop were nice but they were avid American V-Twin enthusiasts and they new very little about Triumph motorcycles.

If you are considering coming this far north you should check out MCC (Motor Cycle Center) in Villa Park. They have been with Triumph and servicing Triumphs for a long time. They only sell and service European Motorcycles. They are really laid back and super friendly. They owners (Geoff and Greg) are there everyday and are extremely knowledgeable.

Good Luck

I will also agree with the comments about MCC. Great people and they know their bikes. I have bought a number of bikes from them and now that I live in St. Louis I still deal with them. Geoff is the man to talk to about new bikes.

Thats all I needed to hear. v-twin right. I have heard all good about MCC and will probably end up going there, but wanted possible options for service. Thanks

South Suburban in South Chicago Heights has all my business. Great service as well. It's not a boutique, just a good old fashioned motorcycle shop that knows their trade.

I am a long way between dealerships also, I have had great service out of RPM in Belleville, Illinois. A small shop that only deals Triumph, they have been very helpful with some of my special projects, and the coffee pot is always on.

Seems like those small shops populated by enthusiast are getting harder to find. Too bad. Usually don't move the units but do great service work.
