Buying a bike in Canada

Anyone know whether it's feasible or even possible for a US citizen to buy a bike from a Canadian dealer and bring it home?
British Italian Motorcycles in Vancouver have a new 09 Green & White T100 for $9799 Canadian which is $7595 US. Sounds like a bargain to me, and I'm going to be up in Vancouver next week.......
Are Canadian & US specs the same?

The bike I now own was originally purchased by a man from the U.P. of Michigan through his closest Triumph dealer in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.
So, it would likely still be possible. He bought the 1999 Legend at a time when the exchange rate was very favorable.
Check with U.S. Customs at the border to determine if duty will be applied, and if there are any emissions issues, although I believe European emissions are more stringent than USA.
Of course, you'll have to get used to converting your speedometer/odometer reading from metric to English.
Doesn't bother me, I like doing math in my head.

You sure about that exchange rate?
