Is any one able to supply me if information in regards to upgrading the front brakes of a 2001 Tiger. I am considering fitting the four pot calipers from a 300 series Daytona/Trophy/Sprint. Does any one know if this has been done before and if so what is required and did it make a noticeable difference. :???:

Can't help with that. I recently bought 4-pot Beringers from Jack Lilley. Awesome!

What you'll find with upgradeing brakes,is the fact that not only you need the calipers but someing decent for them to bite on,putting an upgraded caliper on the stock disc's!!! blimey they warp easily enough as it is

Just like TT i've run Beringers for the best part of two years, but if your just useing trail bike tyres then it's a little self defeating cuz the brakes are just going to overpower the tyre.

Thanks Winger and TT. Good feed back and something I'll keep in mind. My interest in the 300 series brakes was due to Triumph's module concept during that series as the Tiger's brakes appear the same as the Tridents and TBird Sports which appear to use the same folks as the Daytona etc (well externally anyway). I am obviously assuming the mounting points on all the 300 series are the same.

Thanks again.
