Rear Shock Mud Flap

I have just got the rubber mud flap that sits between the rear wheel and the shock absorber but it has a cut out on the lower corner, is this for the chain side or the brake pipe side? could someone please have a look on there tiger for me.
Thanks.
Mike.

Ps forgot to mention it is a 2005 cast wheel Tiger if that makes a difference

Thumbs up Mud flap

The cut-out is on the brake side - maybe to clear the rear brake line.

Thanks for taking the trouble to look Tigerblog,
It seamed to fit either way round so wanted to check first, I can now go and fit it.
