Mk7 Scottoiler.

Ive just bought a Mk 7 Scottoiler complete with the Triumph vacuum pipe and t piece.

Can anyone tell me where about is the best place to fit the main body of the oiler.??

Personally I used to have the scottoiler mounted to the frame behind the left hand sidepanel (think one of the pictures in the album shows this - not a scottoiler, white bottle, but same location). I would however not recommend this unless you can't find space anywhere else - having to take the sidepanel off every time the oiler needs filled is a p.i.t.a. and also caused me to crack screwholes after tightening panel screws up too much .....

mine's fitted to the rear and right of the battery, easy filling as the berather hole is at the top end and as it's vertical you get a good reservoir full before re-filling.

I think there are Triumph fitting photos on the scottoiler website, maybe not for the reservoir though.

If you've the touring reservoir, behind the number plate's a popular spot.

Mine is fittted by the side of the Battery, behings the left side panel. I use the breather tube to refill and this is just looped under the seat.
