Have I got a screw loose ??

Hi,

Or more to the point have I got a bolt loose ??

Please could one of you jolly decent Tiger chappies have a look at your 2006 and let me know if I've got a bolt missing from here:

If so is it part of the centre stand bracket ??

The silver bracket seems to have "pulled away" from the frame at the top.

Many thanks,
Graeme.

It would seem that the footrest hanger bolts have a habit of coming loose, best to add a drop of threadlock when you replace the missing bolt.
Would not do any harm to put threadlock on all the others as well.

Graeme

The footrest fasteners became loose several times on my bike.

Be careful with the particular one you've lost, it's smaller than the
other two and screws directly into the frame. I've heard of people stripping the threads.

My dealer found me a bolt that was slightly longer than original and I've not had further problems.

Also, the other two bolts protrude through the other side, so you can get a nyloc
nut on them, to help keep them in place.

Don't forget the other footrest hanger as well.

Dave
