The bike is in warrantee so get it to a dealer, but I would want to know if it was something stupid like a lose bracket on the frame or something dangerous that might kill me on the way to the dealers.
This is what I would do.
Think back to when you first noticed the rattle, did you do anything to the bike just before? Take the tool kit out and put some extra spanners in? Fitted a tank bag? Ran over a rock? Mounted a pavement? That sort of thing, it just might help you look in the right place.
Put the bike on the centre stand.
Actually you may want to check the centre stand bolts and brackets first, some have been known to come loose.
Tug at things that look like they might cause the sort of noise you are hearing like heat shield on can, bash plate on exhaust, exhaust clamp, pannier frame
Start it and look for anything moving, touch stuff that is not going to be hot and see if the noise stops.
Check the gearbox by putting the bike in gear with the clutch pulled in, slip the clutch against the back brake, any change in the noise?
If you have a quite road with a down hill section try costing with engine off in and out of gear.
Other tips I can think of are:
Use a long screwdriver (or metal rod) placed against the engine in various places and then to your ear to listen to what is going on inside. (May look stupid when you do this so check that there is nobody about) use a cardboard tube from kitchen roll against your ear to help locate the area of the noise.
