new fuel tank

when i bought my 05 tiger there was cosmetic damage to the fuel tank.
i managed to get a brand new tank at a good price from another triumph dealer.
there are no fittings on the new tank.
my question is can i transfer all the fittings from the old to the new tank or do you guys recommend purchase of new fittings?

any advice would be appreciated.

Assuming you mean fuel pump, gauge sender, cap etc just re-use the old ones.

graeme......feck off!

i got the tank for £125 but had to pay £50 p+p as i couldn't get anyone to pick it up for me.
this was a one-off stock clearance they were having and i was fortunate that they had the colour i was after.

Got similar damage to the tank on mine which I've negotiated a good deal with a local repair shop to repaint. However they want the tank off the bike. Willing to do it myself but looking for a steer as to how best to achieve it. As I say willing to try. Test of my competence will be in achieving it! As a side issue anyone have a suggestion as to a source for reproduction decals? Triumph want an arm and a leg for OE ones.
