Exclamation advise on management light

Can anyone please help me with my Triumph Tiger 900 year model 2000, my battery on the bike lost charge whilst stored in garage over winter period, I have charged the bike battery but now my management light has appeared to have come and stayed on, and I am not sure how to deal with this matter, it would be appreciated if anyone could give me some advise on this matter.

Many thanks

You'll get plenty of posts on this question. On the '03 model year this is rectified by doing nothing more than running through three warmup cycles. In other words, ignore it and it will go away after three rides.

Just a word of caution.

If the bike has a genuine engine management problem, when riding it could go into "limp mode" at the most inappropriate time - i.e. overtaking. First time it happened to me I browned my underpants !! After a while I got used to it.

As I'm sure you know limp mode is when the engine management system cuts the power to a safe level to get you home. If it happens a few times, take it to a dealer and get the codes read and get it fixed.

Good luck.
