Plug and play alarms

I'm looking to fit an alarm, and have seen an Acuman plug and play.Is it really that simple,no soldering,no wireing, any LED's to mount.Has anyone ever fitted one,if so how simple is it,and how good is it?

Many thanks.

There is a black wiring connector under the tail cover, you have to unbolt the four bolts holding the rear rack on. The connector has a plug fitted which loops a couple of wires. Remove this and plug in to the other.
I would like to know if a LED is fitted in the '06 instruments. I fitted an alarm but have not got a warning flash on the instruments. The new tiger does apparently.

Yes just plug & play.

I fitted the Acumen one to my R3. Although it is a very good alarm and a doddle to fit I just have to ask why Triumph charge so much to "plug these in" I could understand charging £100.00 quid or more if they had to pull fairings off and chop/solder wiring looms, but these alarms are designed in at the drawing board for ease of fitment at a later date.

I am seriously thinking of changing the Acumen alarm for the Talon alarm as this detects people in close proximity to the bike and lets out an audible warning to remind potential thieves that the bike is alarmed...
