Oil Filter Size

Hi

I've just recieved a Hi Flo HF 191 oil filter from Triumph Online, for my 06 Tiger.

My filter removal tool, which fits the original filter perfectly, is too small for the Hi Flo one.

Can anyone confirm that this is the right filter and I just need to purchase another tool?

Dave

My tool has two different hexagon sizes (quiet at the back there). I too have the Triumph online filter and it seems to fit the smaller hexagon if memory serves correctly.

Thanks Ian.
The original OE filter is smaller than the replacement Triumph Online one. Unfortunately, my tool is one size and the smaller diameter at that (titter ye not).

Unfortunately, Triumph, in their wisdom, altered the diameter of the filters a few years ago. No idea why.
