o2 sensor

this bike is making me crazy. Ran it this weekend and everything seemed ok. Get on it today and running like crap. Surging worse in low speed. primarily in 2nd gear is where I feel it "hopping". Think I will try the O2 sensor relay replacement. Any suggestion where to order.

Is this it............on dennis kirk website under 05 tiger. guessing it's the same for 06

My mate has bought one for his tiger but not actually fitted it yet so I can't give any feedback.

I think they are made by dynojet, but Triumph-online do them.

Yep that looks like the same sensor. Dennis Kirk shows as a dynajet.

Does the bike need to be retuned or will computer adjust to change? Currently have off road tune on bike

No, just plugs into the wiring loom after you've disconnected the o2 sensor. It just stops the ECU trying to lean out the fuel.

You'll find it's the best £20/$40 you've spent.

Me too but my bike is going pretty good lately, doesn't feel quite so urgent now! John.

PS: I now know how fast my Tiger will go now, following a childish little response to a young tearaway on a Triumph 600 sprot bike!

Still feels good to pull one off though, age doesn't seem to deaden that old competitive spirit!

My wife on the other hand..........!

I think she has stopped now and it is just an echo in my head! Sheeesh!

This might not apply to the Tiger but on some BMW's if you immediately start the bike after switching-on the key, the bike will run crappy. You need to wait a couple of seconds or more after switch-on to get the correct reading and for the bike to run sweet.

My wife's voice will echo in my head too...is it the voice or the head that causes the echo? BTW - How fast?

130mph(+/-) on the speedo, found my rev limiter too, that startled me for a few seconds. John.
