clutch shaft seal

Hi can anyone supply part number for the inner seal on the clutch shaft that is accessed behind the front sprocket cover on 885 carb model steamer.Mine is leaking since the crash and if I provide the number hopefully will get the right one when ordering.Thanks in advance Tony.

Start belowfor a schematic of the Tiger. You will need your serial number.

Not sure of the location described, are you referring to the output shaft, part 28: SEAL,OIL,40 62 6?

Lots of chain drive motors leak oil when the countershaft fixing bolt or nut (depending on model) and the countershaft sprocket are loose on the output drive shaft.

pushrod seal

Thanks Billhilly,I see now that I was calling it the wrong thing,It,s the seal for the pushrod that activates the clutch.Great parts site,will now have a better chance of getting the right thihg.Cheers Tony.
