Hi,
I live in Portugal and i have a problem with my 1994 Tiger.
About one year ago the engine started having a very unusual functioning. The engine just goes down while riding, and sometimes with big explosions on the exhaust tubes.
All mechanics that i consult just do not know what to do...
They try everything, cauburetors, pickups, electronics, strokes, etc.
Can somone help me, Someone had a problem like this?
Thanks. David M. Serafin :???:

Two possibilities, could be a week spark and unburnt fuel is reaching the exhaust system, or the bike is running way too rich. or even too lean.
But any half decent mech' should find those.
Is it your Triumph dealer mech's that have been looking at your bike?.

I would strongly suggest that you examine the rubber carb. air intake boots. Over time, these boots get micro cracks, which lets excessive and uneven amounts of air into the mix. If they appear original, you may want to go ahead and change them, as you might not be able to see the cracks with the naked eye. You may also have a hole in your air filter box, or need to change your pulse generator. Good luck!
Ride safe ...
