TOR tune

I have heard that some people who have the 1050 are using the TOR tune with the stock muffler. What's the advantage?

Probably takes care of the nasty, light switch style on/off throttle transition. That's what I'm hoping, anyway. Going down to Philly to test ride a 1050 w/ TORs on Saturday. There is no way I could ride a stock bike in NYC traffic, but if the TOR tune takes away the twitchiness at very low throttle I may just ride it home.

Cheers,
-Kit

FWIW:

I just had my '06 Tiger serviced, and had the dealer load the Triumph Off-Road tune (kept the standard exhaust).
After the headlight fix, it's without doubt the single best thing I've changed. Smooth all over the place!
Doubtless the same would be true of the 1050.

Hope this helps!

if you look on www.triumph-online.co.uk youŽll see headlight relays for sale, they just plug in to the lighting panel(space already there) and the jobs done, twin lights at all times. they are pretty standard relays so you may find them cheaper in your local motor store, also do a headlight search on here and youŽll get lots of info. Aonther good mod is better bulbs
