I've done some searching on the site but am not sure what manual is good for the Tiger. I'm looking at a 2001. Please post the title of your favorite manual.

And do you get a 955 specific manual as well or will one book do it all?

I decided to "bite the bullet" and order the Triumph shop manual from my dealer. Definitely worth having.

Does the manual have an ISBN or is it a "dealership" thing?

Found this on the TriumphTiger yahoo group:

At present, there is no shop manual for the Tiger from
Clymer or Haynes. Your only option is the Triumph
official manual. Haynes did say they would be
investigating a new manual to address the 955i engine
around the end of this year, for what it's worth.

I found a Haynes for the pre 01 models but not for the 955. My dealer said he can get me the Triumph manual for $53.00. So it's done and done.

Thanks guys
David

A negative comment was made about the usefullness of the Triumph manual on another thread. Since it seems to be the only one published I'll order one.

But would anyone suggest a 955i specific manual that may not be directly related to the Tiger? I'm not going to wrench major items on the bike but certainly want to know about it.

The factory manual is as good as it gets there is nothing else out as yet thet covers the 955i tiger.

I've found the factory manual is all I need to do the work I'm capable of. After alll it's what the factory trained mech's use.
