Oil leak behind front sprocket

For those of you following along at home I have been chasing an oil leak. I have abandoned my old post about an oil leak at the shift lever because it is not leaking from there and that just makes me look the fool . My new suspect is the oil seal on the output shaft behind the front sprocket. I have cleaned out all of the chain lube and know that it is not excess chain lube dripping.
Does anyone have advise on replacing this oil seal. Removing the front sprocket seems easy enough but what about the seal behind it? The seal itself is only $8.00 US but I don't have any experience in this area so any help would be great.

Thanks Erik,
Looks like you are having or had the same problem. Did you fix it yet? How did it go?
