Tune # for offroad pipe?

I know a guy who used to sell Triumphs, but dropped all of his street lines due to insurance in '05. He kept the tools and computers.

I asked him if he could downlod the computer map for the offroad pipe into my '05 Tiger. He said it would be helpful if I knew the map number so he could verify he had it.

Does anyone know what the # is, or where to find it?

All help is appreciated!

Where in NM are you? I'm in the south...

I forget the number off the top of my head, but look on the ECU (under the passenger seat) the stock tune is listed--xxxxxx.hex. Just increment it by one.

Hey Geof, I'm up in Farmington. I have a brother who lives in Las Cruces but he's not a rider.

Thanks for the tip on the #, that should make it easy!

The revamp of the site seems to have lost a lot of old posts... :-(

I believe the number you need is 10121.

good luck.

sounds right

10121 was the first # that popped into my mind as well, I'm quite sure that's it. It's the best improvement for the bike, do it for sure!

Just for reference:

Stock tune # for a 2005 Tiger is: 010172
Aftermarket (offroad) pipe tune # is: 010173

The new tune has been downloaded. I'll put in some saddle time today to get a feel for it. So far my impression is totally positive.

Same tune #'s for the 2006 Tiger. My dealer's mechanic loaded in the OR tune at no charge during the first service. Definite improvement, runs cooler and smoother, fuel mileage unchanged. The fan was coming on quite often prior to the OR tune even at 15C air temps, not any more though.

Interesting. They must have changed the ECU at some point. Mine (2003) is definately 10121.
