Anyone else find the springs on the footpegs a bit weak? I find the peg feels almost loose when changing gear.

Anyone ever tried stronger springs?

Orange Phil, have you checked the footrest mounting bolts? these are known to work loose so that may be one reason why the footpeg feels loose.

Only a suggestion because I would not expect your description to be due to weak footpeg springs. Mine are not particularly strong but I've nothing to measure against!

Hi Having read about the footrest mounting bolts coming loose on this forum. I checked them today. YES they where loose. Fixed now with M8 nuts.
Thanks to all who raised this

Jon, Noj,
Thanks for the replies. I did check the tightness of the bolts - a number of people do seem to have had an issue with them. Luckily mine are OK.
I just find that - especially when changing gear - the left peg tends to rotate a bit and 'follow' my foot upwards, and the only obvious fix I can see would be a stronger spring to keep it held in position.
