I have problems when starting the '02 tiger when it is hot, notably worse on a 30 degree day. It starts but stumbles and quits. In relatively cool weather it gets its composure back fairly quickly but today a hot and humid one, it really struggled and quit several times after a brief stop. The bike is stock except for a K & N hi flow airfilter. I had it a dealer but they did not offer any solutions, the map is standard.
Can anyone offer any experience, advice or fix for this condition?

hi, My 05 EFI Tiger does it once in a while. I have had this bike only for few months and this is my first season. Seems to me that the fast idle is not kicking in when the temperature is sufficiently warm. But on the second start, after it stumbles and dies first time, everything went fine. I have k&n filter and off-road tune.
