I found a small oil leak on my right-hand oil cover by the crank.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this leak. It looks like the later 955i Tigers have the same cover.

Yesterday was the first I had seen this leaking - I cleaned the bike and will see if it reappears.

Do you think this is a symptom of oil overfill? Is a new gasket required if the leak persists? Thanks!

It appears to be the seal. Or maybe It can be tightened a bit and the leak disappears?

It does not seem to be sign of overfill. You would have to put 10 litres of oil at least

I was able to get the torque figure and found that it was not tightened to spec, so I tightened it. Hopefully the gasket is still ok. I will watch the area. Thanks for the response.
