I've had the same problem here, in the U.S.. My nearest dealer won't load the performance tune, unless I change exhaust.

The dealer has a special 'gameboy' (as you call it) from Triumph to download tunes into your bike's ECU. Basically new tunes are updates of old ones, but there are also different tunes for the engine in standard configuration or with the Triumph OffRoad exhausts (TOR's). At the regular service intervals the dealer checks and when applicable, dowloads the latest tune for my specific bike. If I ask him to download the tune for a Tiger with the sports exhaust - even though I haven't fitted it - he'll do that. Often this leads to a better and smoother running engine, as it eliminates the lean spots in the lower rev range, put there to comply with environmental legislation. For the dealer the procedure is extremely simple, it is just a matter of connecting the device, push the right buttons and the download starts. Nothing complicated or time consuming.
There is one other way to access the ECU, and that is the use of Tuneboy, an Australian product!

Hi Yendor,

Could you post some pictures of the highway pegs? I've got the Touratec crash bars, and I'm interested in fitting highway pegs. What brand did you use please?

Cheers.
