Distilled water, folks. Only mix your coolant with distilled water and while we're on the subject, make your coolant Dexcool which does a better job avoiding corrosion. Ideal mixture is two parts coolant to one part water.
Dexcool is a fine coolant but it is critical that you get all air purge out of the system and keep the coolant level full. Air in the cooling system with Dexcool causes a glop brown sludge to form over time. Big mess.
