I have 2005 tiger dealer sold me 630 ls pads turned out to be the wrong ones phone call oh you must need the 611 i went over and got them they are 611ls when i pulled every thing apart they appear to be exact opposite to what i need i am guessing i need 611 r ? is this right another half hour trip tp my dealer

No I think you need the 627 according to the SBS web site

Brake pads, Third time lucky anyone else needing pads 633ls.s they are sinter brand, the job is so much easier when you have the right parts

What brake pad type do other owners recommend?

There seems to be so many different friction materials from different manufacturers, what do you suggest for a 2004 Tiger with standard discs.

I notice that some pads are marketed as SINTERED, GRAPHITE, CARBON, HH, SF, CAST DISKS, STEEL DISKS,STANDARD DISKS.

Which manufacturer of pads have you tried and and are happy with regarding brake performance and wearability.

Or should I stick to the pads that my Triumph agent supplies?

What you mean to tell me you have a choice, lol damm with my dealer they were lucky to get it right third time lucky in the state i live we have three dealers all the same company so i have limited choice

I'm currently using "Carbon Lorraine" sintered pads and I'm very impressed. The rear pads especially have a special compound which reduces the harshness i.e. fewer lock-ups.

I have the normal EBC (none HH) in the back and like Blacktiger its much better fewer lockups

I have tried various pads, including EBC and Carbon Lorraine sintered pads. I can honestly say that the best all round pad is the OEM Nissin pad, whether from a Triumph dealer (which is expensive) or sourced from elsewhere (like a Honda dealer).
