Had some bother starting the 955 after a spell parked up in the garage and a flat battery. Charged the battery and it was still a sod to start, but it did eventually after a tussle and seems fine now......except the money lamp (engine management) is lit. I'm fairly sure there's nothing really wrong with the bike and I don't want to have to book an expensive trip to the dealer. Is there a way to reset the system? I'm pretty sure a reset would see the lamp stay out but is it possible without the Triumph tool?

I think that the engine light will go out after 3 starts or something like that... I wouldn't let it bother you unless it stays on after several rides... This is normal when the battery has been disconnected...

Indeed - it worked for me.

The bike needs to be run from cold to the point at which the cooling fan cuts in, three times. This can involve normal riding.

I sorted mine over a period of two days - I started it from cold each time, and when I'd reached my destination I'd leave it idling in the car park until the fan cut in before turning the engine off.

Problem solved!

I usually sacrifice a javalina - a wild desert peccary - within sight of the Tiger when the Engine Management light comes on. The light goes off at the next start. No need to be naked.
Might be tough getting a javalina in the UK, especially in Yorkshire!
